The 12th annual Giving Tuesday will take place on Tuesday, December 3, 2024! Sometimes referred to as a “global day of giving”, it was created by the 92nd St. Y in NYC to try to shift the focus from the consumerism of Black Friday and Cyber Monday to that of giving and helping others.
Giving can be done in a multitude of ways, whether it’s giving of your time or talents, a monetary donation, or with the power of your voice. How can you help Same As U on Giving Tuesday?

As a nonprofit, we rely on Giving Tuesday to bring in donations, and we’ve been able to do some great things in past years. We were able to purchase our very first desks thanks to Giving Tuesday. We’ve been able to create social and educational experiences for our students, bring in outside organizations to enrich our programming, provide curriculum, supplies, and equipment, and help with the day-to-day expenses that an organization needs to run effectively.
